As we approach our wedding day

Here are some things we would like to say

The plans we've made are going well

We've booked the church, cars and hotel

We have a flat to be our home

And furnished each and every room

Although there are things we've likely missed

We have not made a wedding list

But if you choose to bring a gift

'Bread & honey', dosh or dough

A money contribution would be our wish

This is to be spent very soon

To send us on our honeymoon

But most of all we both request

That you will be our wedding guest
